    Hi,

I need to disable my onboard LAN from my BIOS (not from OS). However, when I went to the options menu, there are just a few options. In the Advanced tab, it only has 2. Breakdown: 1) Boot from External devices 2) Boot from Network

How come????? Sony Support said if I update the BIOS and it screws up, it will VOID the warranty. I dont want that! I just want my onboard lan to be disabled (very easy step if there is an option in the BIOS).

Help, please. What are my options? =)

    Thank you.

Most laptop BIOS are not going to have advanced options. You can't just hack the BIOS either so count that idea out.
