    ... isn't working.

I tried to click on it to see what it is, under the Start menu, I have the following options:

    Register your VAIO
    My Club VAIO
    Go to VAIO Web Support

but I can this error when it tries to connect to the Internet.

What is and do I need it?

I have no idea - thats why I wanted to try it out but it doesn't even flipping work! Tried to download it again from Sony but it doesn't do anything - the download is only 300Kb or so. What?

I finally found out at the end what this 'my club vaio' is all about, it's basically a little program that connects to Sony and gives you latest news and links to view PDF documentations and manuals. It's so pointless and buggy as hell!

I only mananged to get it to work when I recovered my OS back to factory state and then it keeps on crashing and updates itself -> then not working afterwards! What a waste of space and I can't even uninstall it! Why didn't they just include it as a website link somewhere!

It would seem to be a UK only application  I can't get rid of it!!
