    Hi

Last Friday I bought a refurbished Z13 full spec with a 7200rpm 500Gb HD instead of SSD, it arrived on monday but I found that the Toshiba HD had some bad clusters and windows used to crash.

THe notebook was perfeclty new, never used, never opened, all licenses was inactivated, al seals was unbreaked, no bad pixels, no signs.

Yesterday they sent UPS to take it to the sony center to repair...

my question is... what to do now?

    1) wait 5 days and keep the notebook
    2) something is wrong, better give it back to sony and take the 2k euros

Option one. Keep it, reinstall windows from scratch (clean install) and have fun with the machine. If you send it in, you will probably get it back with scratches and scuffs etc and nothing fixed at all. If you will encounter serious problems, you have warranty anyways.

sry for my english but... I already sent it to the local sony assistance, UPS man passed yesterday to take it, the notebook was unusable, 1 crash every 5 minutes for the HD problem.

    1) they said that the notebook will come back in 5 days, and I enjoy mu Z13 with the new HD
    2) after these 5 days I call sony asking them to sent another UPS to take the notebook for ever and they give me back money, I'll take this option if I think that this PC has something wrong anyway, cause is refurbished (but new), cause HD was damaged... and maybe in the future something else can occour...

I have had a very bad experience with HDDs in the Sony Vaio Z: I had three hard drives (the 320GB model) fail on the PC (all with bad clusters appearing on the drive after having it for a while, once within 2 weeks!). In the end, I got an SSD version instead, as the PC was spending longer at Sony repair than it was with me!
