    Good review, thanks.

Some corrections though... second paragraph you call it an SZ. Also somewhere toward the bottom you have Nvidia spelled Nvidea.

I would probably be sold on this guy if it weren't for what seems like low screen rez. Just not sure on how big of a deal it is yet.

Thanks, dog. I have a question though. We were discussing this in another thread... what do you think the silver part of the casing is made out of?

I have no idea what the silver casing is made of, but it does withstand scratches pretty well. In terms of 3d tests, I don't know how to do one. The fan on this unit is a littel bit louder than the fz140e, but not too much. This is still the perfect computer. Very portable as well.

-no major heat problems. only time it became overheated was when I charged my motorola q with it.

-I haven't tried to install another windows. Vista home premium runs pretty snappy..haven't had any driver problems.

dog352, see my thread here "How Are CTO Sony VAIO'S Shipped?" http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=129999

Anyways, how was your CTO Sony VAIO FZ laptop shipped to you? Like what shipping courier and speed, and did the laptop that comes in it's own box like what you see at retail stores have an exterior shipping box to protect the boxed laptop? ANY information and pictures and descriptions are helpful. Thanks!
