    My SZ Hard Disk can't be upgraded !!

    I got a SZ17 and i knew that my Hard Disk cant be upgraded, why

    I seriously doubt that your hard drive can't be upgraded.

    The person that told you that most likely meant that Sony does not consider the hard drive in the SZ's to be user upgradeable because in order to access the hard drive in an SZ you must remove the computer's top cover and keyboard.

    Because Sony, for warranty purposes, doesn't want inexperienced people futzing around with their computers they say that the hard drive is not user upgradeable but in reality replacing or upgrading the hard drive in an SZ is really a very easy thing to do.
