    My SZ90 always has the CPU at 2.16Ghz

    Even if I choose Battery Mode the CPU will be always at the MAX SPEED, I got the computer from Dynamism, there is something not configured properly ?, thanks

    Have you checked out the vaio power utility? You may need to change the way the profiles are configured.

    Yes, I've tried ALL the profiles and it is ALWAYS at 2.16 Ghz

    Have you tried changing how the profile is set-up? Is the processor configured for performance or adaptive? I'm not sure if there is a bios setting to enable speedstep or not, but you might look there also. If you are sure that is all configured correctly, I would contact Dynamism, and or Sony about it.
