It is hidden and cannot be found. Power on and hit F8. It will attempt to recover your system, if it has not been affected. It will reformat your drive, so make sure you have recovered all your wanted files.

When you say "My Safe Location", I assume you mean "Vaio Recovery Center" where TX stores the OS backup in a hidden partition in your hard drive. This backup is stored in a "Safe" location in the hard disc, and is hidden that no other software can access.

Since you have BartPE, you should recover all your personal data files and store them somewhere, or write them to dvd.

Programs cannot be saved. You have to re-install the OS and reinstall all your programs.

To reinstall OS, power on TX and hit F10 immediately (not F8 as I said before). It will ask your permission to recover the OS. After that you can re-install all you programs. Since it will reformat your c drive, it will get rid of the virus, and all your other files.

Can BartPE run a virus scanning program like Spybot? If so, you can try to see if it will repair it. Otherwise, you have to run the recovery center as I have described above.

Problem fixed! i ended up re-born the window... recover the files... then restore the system.

what i meant "My Safe" is a folder that require fingerprint to open, it access thru My Document or My Computer. I ended up found the data name "My Safe.fdp" in C:\Program Files\Protector Suite QL.

    Thanks TZ
