    My Safe crashes on SZ

    I have had intermittant hangs when accessing the My Safe folder.
    If I wait long enough I get this error message. Has anyone seen it?

    Since this has all my important dox inside I am very concerned. For the moment I cannot get them out :(

    There is a fairly well known problem with My Safe failing to mount when running certain antivirus software (mine has this problem). Disabling the antivirus temporarily should allow you to access it.

    How do you access MySafe? I noticed when I try and access it via a remote program, say Yahoo Messenger with the browse file feature...it freezes like that. But if I go directly to My Safe first and unlock it, then it doesn't happen.

    I believe you anwsered your own question - it has to be unlocked first. If any old program could access it any time it wanted to then it wouldn't be much of a security feature.

    This is the error I receive. Have not been able 2 view the files for months. Major concern.

    If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

    "Cannot create My Safe view object.
    The host file cannot be mounted because it is currently in use or just was used by some other application. Mounting cannot proceed until the host file is closed and removed from the operating system's file cache. This is usually a temporary condition. Wait a few seconds and try again".

    Becarful when using My Safe; sometimes did more harm than good.
    Do you run Protector Suite QL on Battery mode?
