    Hello all,
I have a Sony Vaio VGN-N320E and it gets incredibly horrific battery life. The moment I unplug my Vaio it begins to go down. It goes from 100% - 10% in under an hour. I have made the most power saving plan possible and it still does horrible. Screen is on the lowest setting, I turn wireless off when not needed, and everything. I've been through all the advanced settings in the power options. I think the reason is that I leave the laptop on the charger too much. It's too late now though! Do I need to just go buy a new battery? Thanks for your help.

How long have you had your laptop? Having it constantly plugged into your wall will drain your battery's life. If you've had it for a year or so and have done nothing but let it sit, charging, the overall battery life probably went down.

If you keep it plugged in with the battery, use it a lot, etc., that can happen. Same thing happened to my SZ. I bought a new battery and all was well.
