    Hello
I have a Sony Vaio VGN-TZ31WN. Well yesterday I was downloading a movie via my laptop. I plugged the adapter to the laptop and the green light was coming and it was charging too & when I came back I saw that the charger's light is off but the switch is on and the laptop was not charging. I am sure that nobody was there in my home and I didn't do anything to it. So please help me bring back my adapter to life and please don't tell to send the adapter to you or give it for a repair.
    Regards,
    Rohit

PS. - When the switch is on, the Biggy thing in which the voltage required and all is written( I don't know its name) is hot after sometime as usual. But now my Laptop has no charge.

I don't think anyone on this forum is going to ask you to send anything to them -- we don't work for Sony.

Do you know anyone that has a Sony adapter? If so, try theirs to see if the issue is with the adapter or the power connector on the laptop. You might also shutdown the laptop, remove the battery for a few minutes, and boot back up.

Also, make sure you have the must recent BIOS firmware.
