Hello everybody. I just want to share the way I installed Windows 7 from scratch on my FZ 21.

When I had Windows 7 RC, I installed it upgrade mode. It's easier to have the correct drivers installed, but it's a long install :
    - Install Vista
    - Install Vista SP1
    - Install Windows 7

So, when I received my copy of Windows 7, I decided to install it from scratch.

I installed Windows 7, then downloaded the drivers on the Sony Web site, and installed them in the following order (xx = not installed) :

    Notes :
    - 00 : Already installed before Windows 7
    - 01, 02 : The computer works without them, but I installed them because
these kind of drivers are usually installed when installing a computer
    - 04 : Needed Vista SP1 compatibility mode to install without error message,
this patch is needed only when connecting a projector on VGA
    - 11 : Handle keyboard special keys. I read on a forum it's necessary to install 06 then 10 then 11
    - SetReso : read on internet : seems to be useful to solve a wrong resolution problem
when resuming from sleep. I yet not have this problem
    - Windows Image File Mini-Filter Driver : read on internet : seems to be useful to access the OEM recovery partition. I don't care about that
    - 13 : needed to have mouse wheel emulation on touch pad

My laptop seems to work correctly.

This post is just to share my experience, and perhaps get comments about the drivers I did not install.

    Thank yo everybody.
