I recently got my Z 530N to repair some things with the keyboard, and I noticed that it's much louder than before. Before the repair, I could hardly hear anything even when playing a game, but now I can hear it clearly when i'm just surfing on the internet. Is there anything I can do about this? thanks a lot

My guess is that maybe they updated the BIOS & the fan is coming on more frequently & at a higher speed? On second thought, I'll most probably be wrong though.

Do you have your Thermal Control Strategy in Silent Mode? It can be caused nearly by anything. To make it less noisy there's plenty of Vista tweak for less processes, undervolting, changing thermal paste....but if you're saying they should just repair the keyboard and the noise changed.....call Sony and see what they'll tell you...

Yes it's annoying when that happens; you already got it it fixed and you're inclined to send it in again due to another problem!

Judging only by your description, unless you have any reason to believe the noise is caused by anything other than the fix at Sony, then you should ask Sony if anything happened during the repair.
