    My battery moves and make noise

    Hi all,
    I just got my new vaio SZ55GN.
    but the battery on my vaio seems to moved alot and i can move it about and make it click.
    When I put the notebook on leg, i can sense it move!!!

    IS THIS NORMAL?????

    I have until sunday to return and get a now notebook.

    My CR series does the same. I know it's something that is a characteristic of the CR, but i havent heard about it wth he SZ. Hopefully someone can let u know.

    It's very annoying!

    the only fix is to put one side of velco on the bottom of the laptop where the battry fits in , after that you shuld be fine i have done that on my sz!

    I have two batteries, and both do it. It's normal (at least for the SZ), so don't let it worry you.

    I have the SZ7 and my battery fits snuggly in the slot, no movement whatsoever, I personally don't think its normal, some notebooks just suffer from minor annoyances.

    My FZ's battery moves also - and it is quite annoying but normal I think. Both the FZ's I've had (I returned one due to fault) had the same problem.
