I bought a Sony SZ premium SZ 160p/C last May, and I upgrade it to vista this Jan.
Last month I feel that the fan in the laptop gives out big noise. So I take my laptop to the sony premium service center in Maryland to change a fan.
After 3 weeks, when I took my laptop back.
    1. I found that when I shut down the laptop, it turn into restart. I mean that after shutdown the computer automatically restarts. So now I cannot turn the laptop into hibernate or standby mode because it restarts after that.
I only can mannually press power button to shut down the computer.
    2. When I run World of warcraft, it immediately shut down the laptop automatically. And when I run windows vista experience index in the control panel-->system, it also shut down automatically. But when I switch the video card to built-in GM950, it can pass the experience index test and got a score 3.0 or 3.1.
I really don't know what's wrong with my laoptop after changing the fan in it.
I never have this kind of problem before.

Today I reinstalled the vista OS and only have antivirus software installed. It still got the same problem.
I contact the sony online chat service and gives me no helpful sugguestion.
What should I do?Send it back to the service center?
But I am afraid that they will say that it is the problem of the software in my laptop or even virus.

I feel very unhappy with this experince of service .

Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestion.

    1. Try to disable the Modem device in device manager, and try to HIB/STDBY.
If still not working, go to step 2.
    2. Using device manager - try to disable all HW. like PCMCIA/LAN/Camera/Sound etc....and try to HIB/STDBY
with them off one by one.

    I tried but no help.
I think it is the problem of the cooling fan of the video card.
This morning I turned it on and immediately run the Windows Experience Index test, and successfully got a score of 3.3 with geforce7400go. But when I run it a second time, it shut down automatically during the test, maybe due to the temperature of the video card.
