    I was going to buy today VGN-Z790 from sony website then i found great deal for VGN-Z750D/B online.

    Difference is almost 400$!

    But specs are the SAME! Im confused!
    Specs are -Sony Vaio Z750DB P8800 2.66G 4GB 320GB DVDRW 13.1-Wxga BT .. for both computers.
    Can anyone tell me please why z790 series cost more?
    And also if verizon adapter with GPS is also in Z750DB model!

    one word. take 750. same system configured at sonystyle.com cost 1899 while 750d/b is less than 1800 everywhere

    Main differences:

    VGN-Z750D/B - Pre-config model (meaning that you cannot change its specs when you buy it), assembled in Japan (if that matters to you).

    VGN-Z790 - CTO model (meaning it is a customizable order - you order what you want based on the configs being offered), assembled in USA.
