Has anyone used NHC or RM clock on the Sz? Has it worked by increasing battery life? Any other information would help too.

    TIA

Why you don't just try and tell us?

My own observation on 2 my laptops (both are not Sony) was that the newer version of NHC cools processor better that new rmlock. It seems that the explanation is that NHC takes a little bit less of processor resources (but more memory) than rmclock. You can check it yourself.

I use NHC on my S series laptop and I love it. I haven't tried RMclock, and probably won't unless someone mentioned it's better.
I don't really know how the dual core works, but I doubt there will be a huge increase in battery life. The main purpose of using those softwares to is is to lower the CPU temperature (perhaps HD as well). The battery life is probably only longer by 15-30 minutes in my system.
Oh and I think the newest NHC version support dual core.

Is using any of these programs even neccesary? Doesnt the Vaio built in power management do all this and some stuff that NHC doesnt do? Like disabling devices. etc. Also wouldnt they conflict with each other?

NHC works in tandem with sony power management, and the major thing NHC does is decreasing the voltage supplied to the CPU which in the end reduce its temperature.
