ok, so my Vaio NR21M charger has just decided to stop working and Im in the market for a new one. I have spotted loads of cheap chargers on ebay etc, but Im afraid theyll wreck my battery. Have been offered a genuine sony one, but the model number is slightly different,

The original part number is VGP-AC19V28 and Iv been offered a VGP-AC19V14. What is the difference? What does the V number mean? I ca only find VGP-AC19V30 and VGP-AC19V31 on the sony website and there is no compatability chart I can find, and I certainly dont want to buy one thats not going to work on my computer. Can anyone offer any advice?

    Regards

    Doc

I plugged the original part number in eBay and came up with a bunch of "compatibility" here. You might want to take a look at it

ebay.co.uk and use this item number 200314863103

    cheers ...
