I just stopped by Bestbuy and played around with sony NS and NR (last year model).

I noticed that Sony NS runs cooler than NR.

    1) Is it becuase NS has the new chipset GM45 and graphic 4500MHD while NR uses the older chipset/graphic?

    2) NS does not have easy access to HHD from the bottom but NR does have. Does it mean I have to open up the whole NS laptop to upgrade Harddrive?

    3) Does CPU upgrade require disassembling the whole laptop?

    1) I doubt a faster graphics chip would make it any cooler. Better cooling (if any) is probably due to relocation of air vents and components.
    2) Yea, pretty much
    3) Yes. Almost always.
