I'm currently using an SZ670N that I just recently updated with Windows 7 64bit version. In addition to screwing up one of my batteries (growl!) I'm having some issues with the NVIDIA 8400M GS graphics card. From what I can tell, the system doesn't even recognize that a NVIDIA 8400 GS card is available. It's only using the built-in graphics regardless of the speed/stamina switch setting.

Does anyone know if there is a driver or software update I need to utilize the graphics card in this unit? I've checked the Sony driver update page with no luck. I also attempted to download and install the 8400M Windows 7 driver from the NVIDIA site (linked below). The install program exits after saying that it doesn't find any supported hardware on my machine.

    NVIDIA DRIVERS 258.96 WHQL

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Use the MS update 198.05 driver in my clean install guide or go to Laptopvideo2go, grab the latest driver and the modded inf.
