I have a first Gen Z that has served me well.

With help from these forums, I have Windows 8 running with hybrid graphics working, and only have one problem.

The laptop will not wake up from sleep or hibernation...all I get is a frozen black screen and I need to do a hard reboot.

I had an issue a while back with sleep and hibernation giving me a BSOD, and this was fixed when I updated the SATA controller for my Crucial M4 128 GB SSD.

If I remember correctly, Windows installed a 2009 driver, which I replaced with a 2011 Intel RST driver, and all was well for about a year.

Now I have this similar problem where the laptop will not wake up from sleep or hibernate, but Intel's RST driver no longer supports this ICH9 chipset, so I don't have the option of updating the RST drivers again.

    Any help?
