I've tried so many things that would take too long to explain here... and don't wanna bore you...

    thanks...thanks...thanks...

You don't need a disk, as long as you have not deleted the recovery partition.

To find out, power down then as the machine powers up hit the F10 key.

You should get a menu that allows you to do the system restore. Otherwise you will need to get the recovery dvd from Sony. Legally no one here can provide you with a torrent. Any discussing that is not permitted.

of course I've already tried so, but it says that "could not obtain the target drive letter" and then fails the task and returns to the menu...¿?¿?¿?

Then your ONLY recourse is to contact Sony support and order the DVD from them.

Probably you've been delete your partition before you run the F10 recovery utility.

your solution is to start installation(trial) on the selected drive with any vista disk you have, and start the f10 recovery utility after the first reboot(after extract step has finished) ;)
