I had to reformat my drive, I had not made a restore CD so I had to do a clean install of Windows XP and installed all the software from their site for this model. The only software I am missing is the VAIO Power Management Viewer and they say it is not available online from them and I have to order a recovery CD. Before I order the CD from them and have to start all over I wanted to see if anyone knew where I could download it online or someone could send it to me. Thanks.

I managed to find it thanks to someone elses post in this forum. I went to

    ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/Vaio/Original

    and downloaded the S5_UTILITIES.ZIP file.

Unzipped it and clicked the Setup.exe file in the Utils Installer 3 directory which installed version 1.7.00.06291.
