I'm looking for a laptop for my mom. She doesn't do any gaming but I want a good laptop with a good screen with average battery life. Here is a model I'm looking at:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834127092

Does anybody have any thoughts about it? I haven't owned a Sony laptop before, but I assume the screen quality should be better than average. Any thoughts on the kind of battery life it might achieve?

    Thanks!

    Hmm, I haven't owned a Sony before either :p I found a nice-looking brochure: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/specs/VPCEB1LFXBI_mksp.pdf
Says its battery life is 3.5 hours. I would swap the HDD for an SSD. The resolution might be a bit too low for a 15" screen. Since it seems rather new, I think it would be a great idea to look at it in person. Otherwise, waiting for guinea pigs to review (and/or to complain) would be a good idea :)
