    Need a little help with fresh install on Z

    Guys,

    I did a fresh install of Vista Ultimate, and everything works like Function keys, etc. But I am having some issues with some Vaio programs, like control center and power management. I have no shortcuts and if I go into the c:drive the directorys are there but I have no executables to start them. Is they a way, or a site download for Sony's main programs?

    did you try searching the start menu for the shortcuts? It should be there. Power Management is also part of the Control Center.

    reinstall these in this order:

    Sony Firmware Extension Parser
    Sony IO Control
    Sony Shared Library
    Sony Setting Utility
    Sony VAIO Event Service
    VAIO Control Center
    VAIO Power Management
    Sony ISB Utility
    HDD Protection

    one or two reboots are required as prompted.
