    Hi everyone! Pls somebody help me. Is very important for me to know for sure if Sony Vaio Fe790 has glossy or matte screen. Thanks!

    It has a GLOSSY screen (For both XBRITE-HiColor™ or XBRITE-ECO™ LCD Configurations).

    Its called Sony XBRITE.

    You will be happy to know the XBrite Technology does not reflect all that much.

    Sony manufactures the best screens out there period (a little biased), but its TRUE.

    You can never be disappointed with a Sony screen.

    I must confess, a lot of people buy Sony Laptops because of the screen quality.

    From my own experience, you can read for very long hours without any eye strains (SERIOUSLY).

    In fact Sony claims it has an anti glare coating/technology integrated into the XBRITE.

    well, u sure are a sony fan! lol! well, yes, the sony FE790 does have an X-Brite glossy screen, it is beautiful, especially the WideView Dual Lamp config one, though most sony does have beautiful screen some has a crappy one also, so don't go to "all sony screen are beautiful" hype. take this for example; their newest top-of-the-range 17" AR series, suffer from a sparkle issue, that makes reading (especially on white pages) a chore.
