    Heya,
Alright heres the deal. My housemate has cracked her LCD screen, leaving here with the option of getting a new laptop which she may easily do, considering she has money to throw away and really doesnt know much about computers. If she does decide to throw it away, Ill try taking the laptop off her for a minimal amount.

Now the problem is that she bought the laptop in China, so Im not sure what the equivalent UK model is. Ive been able to find two model numbers on the left corner of the screen and the bottom of the laptop, they are respectively:

    -VGN-S56C
    -PCG-6H6P

Ive Googled both of them but havent had any luck, so would appreciate any help in finding out if I can get a replacement screen for this particular model.

I may be wrong but I think this is the S series, which is the series that the SZ replaced & generally any screens made for the S series will work in your housemate's laptop.
