    Hi all,

I just need help finding hard case sleeve for my SZ3xx, I have been searching and I can't seem to find any thing that will fit the sz... I really like the one that Booq has, but it's for Mac laptop.. here is the link so you get an idea of what I am talking about....

    http://booqbags.com/s.nl;jsessionid...34MaxmLbNyKb3f0n6jAmljGr5XDqQLvpAe?it=A&id=65

the sleeve will be put in my back bag with my books.. and I really don't want anything to happen to it since I paid so much for this laptop.... please if any one knows where I can get something like booq that would be really nice...
    Thank you.

if the one from Booq fits the macbook then it "should" fit the SZ...you should try it out first though...i say "should" because my STM Loft bag was designed for a 13" macbook yet my SZ fits in it perfectly...so i'd say test it out if you can and hopefully it'd fit...other alternative is the Sony branded semi-hard cover though i'm not sure that's what you were after...

    Majestic,
Thank you for the input.. But since the booq's interior molded for the 13" macbook. Beside comparing the size the SZ is a bit bigger.. Here are the numbers
    The macbook is 12.78"x8.92"x1.08"
    The SZ is 12.50 × 9.30 × 1.30"
So you see..... I really Love the look of the Booq Vyper XS2 I think it look very nice and slim.... and for the sony is a bit thicker than the booq... thank you again...
    Any other alternative????
    Anybody?

When you say carbon, are you talking about a bit shiny woven cloth like backing cover for the LCD screen? If so how do you like it and is it worth an extra cost?

    Oasys,
I got the Premium Carbon and you know what? I love it, that's why I just hate to see anything happen to it.... I think it is the sleekest laptop I have ever had.

I can almost guarantee you that the SZ will fit in that Booq. I believe those cases have some give. I love mine! Pretty much a perfect fit.

That's a great sleeve, indeed, thanks for sharing. I'm pretty sure SZ will fit there but call them up and ask about return - if it works, they gain a new target market too, it'd be a free test ride for them.

    Neoguri and T2k,
Thank you both for replying.... The 13" will not fit the SZ :( if you really look at the numbers that I posted earlier you will see that there is no way it will fit.... I know because it should be a perfect fit for the Macbook and the SZ is more than a half an inch longer... any more idea guys? anyone!!! :(

What about the one that Sony makes for - wait for it - the SZ?

I'm using a WaterField sleeve & it fits great. However, I'm unable to take pictures of it as my camera has broken down & I need to sent it in for repair.

The WaterField sleeve I'm talking about can be found in the following link:

FWIW I can confirm from first hand experience that the booq zippered sleeve/case won't fit an SZ. My wife has a Macbook with that case and I was unable to get my SZ into it. It might be possible if you forced it, but it would be ugly.
