    Hello peter9999,

Good afternoon! Josh James here from Sony Support USA. I am sorry to hear about your Sony VAIO Laptop giving you issues.
It seems you have a European model (VGN-SZ2M/B). Unfortunately you have reached the Sony USA Support page. We kindly ask that you search for the Sony page for your country at Sony Global - Support / Contact Us.
The process we follow for each of our products differs from country-to-country.

    Best Regards,
    Josh James

    Seems to be a joke . . .

I don´t need the european Sony-support. There I can only get the crippled BIOS I just have

Laptop manufacturers have to stop hiding and limiting options end user can modify/see.

Truth to be told 95% users don't even know how to enter bios not to mention safe mode.
