Hi folks, I need help from Sony SZ 4xx or 6xx owner who runs XP or Sony SZ 3xx owner who has upgraded the BIOS to the one designed for Vista but still run XP in their laptop. Please right click on the desktop, click properties, click settings tab, click advanced button, click Adapter tab and please tell me what does it say at the Memory Size.

I want to know if the new BIOS or if the newer SZ 4xx and 6xx has allocated more System Memory as Video Memory.

Thanks. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hendra

SZ491N/X Windows XP Professional (I guess that would make it SZ491P/X?)

    BIOS Version R0112N0 / RK112N0

    Intel Video - 64MB

    Nvidia - 128MB

Thanks so much for posting the screen shots.

It seems that the new BIOS or the newer SZ4xx still has the same amount of RAM shared with video memory. My SZ381 with the original BIOS also says that NVIDIA memory is 128 MB too (64 native + 64 shared).
