I have looked at tons of laptops and really have no clue what to buy they all look good to me and all seem to have good reviews. I have heard Dell is good but I dont know if thats the best for me. I like the Sony Vaio PCG-K15 but is there anything better?

I would be using my laptop mostly for doing graphics and websites, playing tons of 3D games, watching DVDs, and burning DVD's and CD's. Battery life isnt really an issue as it would be used as a desktop replacement mainly but I would like to be able to move it around my house and maybe take it with me in the car on trips.

Any info or comments would sure be helpful, thanx [ :)].

Thanx for all the help [ :)] I tend to go more for the sonys because of the looks of them. So with everything you have said I think im going to go with the PCG-GRT360ZG. I was thinking about the HP zd7180us but I really don't want a widescreen...with doing websites I don't know how that would work out.

Hey the widescreen seems to work great for me. With dreamweaver and photoshop you basically just use that extra width for your toolbars than you have a regular full sized area to work in. Another laptop you may want to look at if you do look at the HP is the zx5000 series it has the radeon 9600 in it and performs well with games. I have played Farcry, Splinter Cell: Pandora's Tomorow and Counter-strike on it with no problems.

I went to best buy tonight and wow is all I have to say...the sony PCG-GRT360ZG was awsome I wanted to buy it right then and there but lol couldn't yet. It was bigger then I thought from the pics online but its not ugly at all. The screen was amazing it was so sharp and clear compared to the other laptops even the hp. Touchpad was easy to use and the keyboard is easy to use since its full sized. Im going to be getting it in about a month and a half. I can't wait hehe. I have a question though can I play my cd rom games on it like the sims? I heard about problems with laptop resolutions and cd rom games.
