    i think you'd do more harm by uninstalling stuff randomly than following simple step by step and hand holding instructions

    After all, when Windows "unistalls" a program, its still going to leave "junks" behind, you may not see the program(s) installed anymore, but rest assured there will still be registry settings, config files, etc all slowing down your system....

    if you really really are not comfortable with any of that, why not just leave it alone?

    omg! Thats a lot of "junks"!

    When I get my FE i want to do a clean install but dont want to loose MCE as i only have XP Pro on cd. I dont think theres any way round this so im gona have to put up with the the pre installed garbage.

    You can indeed get MCE

    I've seen it for sale somewhere (but ****, can't remember what site, newegg maybe?)... also can get it through an MSDN account

    Hey thank alot for the reply guys. Well even thought it will be my first time for it, but I will listen to MorningZ advice and do a clean install of XP tonight =D

    If all goes well, can you put up a walkthrough so that other FE users (like me) have an idea of what they are doing?

    Even if its just the order of things you install, somethings beter than nothing lol.
