    I'm upgrading a VAIO VGN-C210E and was wondering if it can use 4GB (2x2GB)PC2-5300 memory or is 2GB ram the max it can handle? It has the following:

    Mobile Intel 945GM Express MB
    Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz CPU

    Is it 64 bit or 32 bit?

    32 bit systems can only recognize up to about 3.5 gb of ram.

    i believe it's a 64-bit, just installed windows 7 64-bit.

    can't find any drivers for 64 bit so i might have to just install the 32 bit version instead. i was able to try a 2gb and 1gb ram sticks and the vaio showed 3gb of installed ram.
