    HI,

I need help.. There is some problem with sound in my system. When play anything on my system, it starts playing but no sounds comes out of speakers.
Nor does any system sound is playing.

I checked the drivers but they all are installed and working properly. I also checked the the sound mixer and all settings are fine there. And the speakers are also fine as the it plays Windows startup sound. The speaker becomes dead only after when the system loads the desktop and all the other startup programs.

Previously it was working fine, since I brought the laptop. I started facing this problem after I installed Windows Vista Service Pack 1, but I dun think any problem can come from it.

Please help me, if somebody has any idea about what could be wrong with my system. I am asking it here just because, if by chance, someone had faced the same problem before, so he would be able to help me.

    Thanks
