I was almost certain on buying the Sony vaio S15 but after checking out the 1080p screen I realized a lower resolution will be better for me. I also do not need a dedicated GPU as I will not be doing any graphics work or playing any games.
So I thought I could buy a cheaper laptop and also save some money and not pay more for something that I don't really need.
One laptop I am eyeing is the son vaio SVE15114FXS from amazon. The price of the laptop is under 600$ on amazon depending on the seller. Link below might show she other price.
Need opinions on how this laptop is

PS: I will be buying the laptop from amazon only as I have enough GC balance there.

The e's are a little bulky if that bothers you. Best Buy tends to carry them if you want to take a look at one.

Apart from weight how good are these or the SVE15115FXS ? I am planning to buy one of these depending on the final price i get it for.

I have a 3-month old SVE151190X that I ordered from Sony Online, and I love it. The keyboard has a little more flex than I would like, but overall it's a fantastic machine. Great touchpad that finally supports useable 2-finger scrolling! I don't think you'd be unhappy with the machine at all.

It also comes with a great suite of Sony software. I say go for it! :)

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the machine now costs 679$ on
Amazon which was available for 579$ two weeks back. This is shipped and sold by amazon. I am now not expecting it to go to under 600$ on amazon.
    Exploring other options as well.
