This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Need recovery CDs

    Hi People... I was just given a Sony Vaio PCG-GRZ630. It wirks, just needed some cleaning up. According to Sony's site the original applications and system recovery CDs are no longer available. Is there another source for these? I'd really like to return this thing to a new computer and start fresh.

    USe any Windows XP home oem cd with the license on the sticker attached to the bottom
