    i was wondering, does it matter is the timing is 18 instead of 15, does it not make the ram work or is it just speed purposes

    It may not make a difference but my point is I feel cheated. I feel cheated when a manufacturer claims one thing and the actual performance is another. Anyway, I already returned the RAM for a refund.
