The restraining screw on the underside of the laptop that bolts the keyboard onto the unit fell out today whilst using it in an aeroport.

Does anybody know how long the screw is and what its diameter is?
Then, I'll pop down to a shop and buy one.

    Cheers in advance.

Sony sent me the screws. The
    part number is 2-681-216-01
    description is SHAFT S17L

There are 10 screws in the little plastic bag, but regrettfully, if you try and screw the screw in flush against the SZ it will attempt to protrude and then pop a hole into the keyboard that it afixes... YEs, Sony made the screw too long. I removed the screw and sheered of half of the length of the screw and popped it in. IF anyone else tries this, make sure that the end thread is undamaged after the cut or you might end up with a secured keyboard that you cannot remove ever again. I have ordered a replacement kbd incase I need to remove it later for hard disc/CPU upgrades.

    All fun & games :D
