    Hello all,
My sony vaio VPC-EB190X has been perfect until about Dec. Since then every 2 weeks or so the left mouse button starts to require 3-10 deliberate clicks on things to get it to actually "click". I thought it was a hardware issue, but it seems to go away when I delete the driver and let the computer reinstall the driver on restart. Do you know if this is a symptom of a greater issue or would reinstalling the OS fix it?

On another note that I am not sure is related, sometimes the machine gives me a small shock if I touch the SATA port, this seems to happen more when the mouse is acting up but I am not sure. My wife also says she has seen light under the keys when this shocking is about to happen. Any ideas?

My warranty ends in May so if any of these are hardware related I want to have them fixed before then.

    Thanks,
    Scott
