I bought my Z12 also thinking about Civ5, especially having played other Civ's on my older laptops during long flights, etc.

The current i5/GT330m combo for the Z can only run Civ with low-mid settings.

Civ 5 is very quite processor/GPU intensive. On my more powerful desktop with an overclocked GTX460, Civ5 slows down quite a lot once you get farther into the game (ie by turn 700). Many forums have posted about how the game gets very unstable and crashes by then.
