I did a search but did not see a thread dedicated to this comparison.

What is the value difference between the old E-series and the new EB Series

On the EB series, the Blu-ray drive is still optional.
The only diference I see is a LED-backlight (and i still have read bad reviews of the EB screen). Am i missing anything ?

From what i can gether, the price difference does not seem to justify getting the EB. Anybody feel different ?

EB is more current platform...supports core ix, etc. Also you get the numeric keypad on EB. More colors and also pretty cool keyboard skins accessories.

The E had a pretty bad screen too.

As said above.. there is no "old" E-series. The E-series itself is a new range that was released in February this year. EB signifies that it's the 15" version. EA is 14" and EC is 17". I can't see the first one because the link is broke, but you're most likely looking at two different configurations of the EB, the first one being labelled wrongly.
