I am glad that Sony didn't discontinue this series, I was waiting for a new P from ages! :) And finally, here it comes, the new Vaio P:

No specs yet, can't wait to know them. Any predictions guys?

    Touchscreen?
    CPU?
    SSD?

I really hope they improved the battery life, it was the reason that hold me back pulling the trigger for the Z550 2.0 ghZ P39.

After studying the FCC test reports, I can see that it uses the same power adapter as the Vaio P (VGP-AC10V2), but has 16% more powerful batteries. (Normal and high capacity ones). Here are the specs: VGP-BPS23:7.4Vdc, 2500mAh, 19Wh (Original is VGP-BPS15:7.4Vdc, 2100mAh, 16Wh) and VGP-BPL23:7.4Vdc, 5000mAh, 37Wh (Original is VGP-BPL15:7.4Vdc, 4200mAh, 31Wh). This maybe means that we have a Pinetrail Onboard with a slightly greater TDP than the Atom Z5xx.
I just ordered a VGN-P31ZK/R (Z540/80GB HDD) yesterday as it dropped at 399 euros and my order is delayed.. What should I do now? Cancel my order and wait for the new maybe faster (at last) Vaio P? Will it be that cheap or ask (again) for a premium (1000 euros).

    I'm so puzzled..
