I was wondering if anyone else is experience a little flickering of the screen when using office? My new SVZ screen flickers like it's refreshing the screen.
It happens often. I don't have any issue with any other programs but just when I am using Outlook, Excel.....

Think it's a software issue or hardware issue?

Sounds like the intel dynamic brightness power saving doing its thing. Go into the Intel control and turn off power management. You have to drop down the box in the upper right side to select battery for the option to appear.

What if the laptop is plugged in and not on battery?

The flickering shouldn't happen while plugged in.
