    Hey everyone,

I have been scouring these forums for awhile and consequently led me to purchasing a SZ381P/X. I have done a clean install with Vista Business and so I am enjoying it :)

My only annoyance is the lose battery fit, vibrating aluminum palm rest from HD (hope it's not a shock ), and also the 3 hours battery life with Vista + Wireless on.

So far, I have gotten everything on the SZ working with Vista other than the HD Protection. I have looked through all threads and nothing has worked for me. Can anyone give me a step to step process?

Also my bluetooth seems to be always on (indicator light on SZ). How can I turn it off!

I used a combination of Sony official Vista upgrade drivers with the EU drivers at ftp://vaio-link.com.

I have Sony Central and everything else working.

    Thanks in advance!

Alright I have the bluetooth working with the EU drivers.

It seems like I have to use a combination of EU and sony.com drivers to get everything to be up to date.

I have yet to get the harddrive protection though. I have tried all the possible drivers/software from EU and Sony's site. Can anyone tell me the procedure and with which files from where??

I've scoured the forum and the instructions so far did not work.. thanks guys.

Hi, how have you been able to turn off the Bluetooth without turning off wireless. The only way I can turn off my Bluetooth is by using the wireless switch which also turns off wifi. I haven't been able to get the HD protection to work either but the Bluetooth thing is a bigger annoyance since it drains battery life even when I don't plan on using it.
