I agree FW will make excellent Media Center. Finally, someone got the idea that power button should be on the side. I used Acer 5920G as a Media Center for half a year and everything was great with the exception of power button location.

The primary benefit of LED screens is the increased battery life. This is the reason Sony uses such screens on their ultra-portable range of notebooks.
There will be more options for the hard drive upon customization. 4,200RPM is the configuration for one of the least expensive models of the FW series.
I believe there will be an option for the newer 320GB 7200RPM hardrives.
The most expensive FW series notebook will cost $2149. -
), I wouldn't necessarily say that the nVidia FX 570M is great either.
For a 16.4" notebook, I was expecting something along the lines of the ATI HD3870 512MB. At the very least, they should have offered an option for a high-end GPU, since not everyone needs it.
Besides, a high-end GPU will make the notebook last longer. In other words, the notebook will not become outdated as quickly. You'll be able to play any game without any trouble for the next few years if you have a high-end GPU.
As for the screen resolutions, I have to agree that the 1200x800 resolution on the FZ series wasn't great. However, Sony has already addressed this issue by offering a 1600x900 resolution on the FW series. -

By the looks of it, there will be a lot of media buttons on the FW series, below the screen. -
oh, SR looks really outdated in comparison to FW exterior design. Reminded me of 90s for some reason

Don't judge a book by it's cover.
We'll see when it comes out. The SR may look a bit outdated in terms of the design. However, I would be more concerned about the performance. -
they should've just made mini version of FW sigh.
