I'm gonna take a shot and say it will be called the T series, or the TR. Also, im guessing it will have those new super tiny low voltage core2duos, duallamp led, WWAN, and some random nifty feature. So far the succesors to the CR and NR have been pretty much what you'd expact...as has the succesor to the AR. The only notebooks that look different are the BZ, SR, and Z. The rest so far have been...pretty much what you'd expect the next gen to look like. the Tz already has the cylinder design...so that will obv stay.

Also, every other line has been updated...it's only a matter of time before you see the TZ updated...

We've had many threads on this. The ULV processors are coming out this month or next, so I'd expect to see updated ULV-based notebooks announced then. So it's going to have to be a wait-and-see thing, but I would expect to see some sort of update by November. Just an educated guess.

The internal specs will be similar; if I'm not mistaken, the new procs are 1.4 GHz ULVs, so it's not like you're going to pack a Z into TZ format.

Well at least it will be repalced the graphic card (GMA 950) that is two years old. I expect HDMI, bigger SSD storage and long long battery life...the new Toshiba R500 claims 12 hours so Sony should be around there...my advice Ashan? Give it back, for sure has more value the new one, and the price is going to be the same as the TZ.

It will have 1.4GHz ULV C2D CPU and updated IGP. No huge changes.

The thing most interesting to me is the new design, i expect.

Exactly. Sony's ultraportables are always intriguing from a design stanpoint and tend to look better than their competitors (sans the T from a few years back which came after the TR).

I got my TZ quite cheap so I may stick to it unless theres a huge difference in specification. It seems that there isn't a huge change that one would realise so I may as well stick to my TZ. I'm sending mine back to SONY UK for check up on Monday.
