Has anyone seen the new CS series? My school has a red one for sale. To me it looks like a girl's makeup kit. But NBR and other review sites haven't reviewed it yet.

I stumbled across them while configuring my soon-to-be-purchased VAIO SR on the Sony Style website. They sure are pretty. Judging by the way they are presented on the website (Lifetime Network type chick-flick on the screen display, rugged-looking dude in one view) I'd say Sony is taking a bead on the ladies as far as marketing goes. I can just see Beyonce carrying the copper-bronze one around in a commercial.

I'd almost ordered the black one though... :)

Whats the point of having a Blu-ray reader if there is no hdmi-output?
I see that the red version of the CS has a BD-reader.
Sony is so stuped (some times)!

They're very pretty, but screen quality is average and they're heavy (2.6 kg).

Better get yourself an SR. Lighter and much better screen, HDMI on the Ati models.
