I used to have Sony Vaio FW590. I had to sell it. It was the best laptop ever. Amazing glossy screen, multimedia and gaming laptop. However I had to sell it.

Its almost 2 years since the last F series announced. How long more should I wait? Is there any new F series or other series on the way that equal to F series?

I do not wanna buy any other brand.

I checked the current Sony Vaio`s, There was not any 16.4. I need minumum 16.4 inch screen with above middle class graphic card.

    Any suggestion?

    Thank you

With above 15.5, I think you're stuck with gaming laptops only now :( I.e. Alienware, a few ASUS/Acer/MSI and Clevo subbrands.

Sony isn't even making a real non-consumer laptop for a long time. S was the last, but it doesn't really cut it, too many things just aren't present that should be (eSATA, ExpressCard, hardware WiFi switch).
So I, personally, think that Sony is done producing any non-lame consumer laptop :(

I don't think there's any 16" laptop on the market right now. There are a few 17" still, but not many. Off the top of my head I can only think of the HP Envy 17 or the Asus N76 that would be in that same price range... And maybe the MSI GE70, but that's more of a gaming laptop.

Thanks for the respond, If I chose a smaller screen (15.5), seems like my only option S series and maybe the new fit series.
