Hello peeps, my new sony vaio z laptop arrived today, now i do not want to sound petty but it arrived with a few finger marks on the carbon fibre lid and the screen had a finger print on it. I just wanted to know if, when your new vaio Z laptop arrived if it had any plastic seal over the screen in which you had to peal off or if your vaio z was like mine and came without anything on the screen.
Reason there might be a couple of finger prints is because my Z was configured to what i wanted, but i'd still expect the screen to be sealed, especially when i pay £2650 for it.
When i brought my dell m1330 i had to peal of the screen seal off.
Let me know how your arrived peeps.

Mine had no plastic screen to remove, just a thin styrofoam pad between the screen and keyboard.

its probably a fingerprint of the guy that opened it to put a styrofoam pad between screen and keyboard and "hang" the laptop in mid-air in the box (was surprised to see that!)
There was no screen covering, and just wipe it with a clean cloth... I did have little fingerprint on carbon fiber too though, but when I touched it, side-by-side and down and up inspection, it had a WHOLE lot morewhich just wiped away and TURNED ON! to ENJOY the Z
So dont sweat the small stuffEnjoy your Z!
