Well SonyStyle.com was down for a while yesterday, I guess they updated their website. But is it just me, or are all the notebooks cheaper??

Prices look the same. They took out or at least haven't yet put in the outlet for computers.

I'm pretty sure the SZ series prices were lowered. I haven't been paying attention to the rest.

the Sonystyle.ca site blows and needs a serious revamping
Sony canada never gets the configs that are available in the US and the AR is totally dropped from Sony canada now.
I originally wanted the AR 17" screen for my digi-p work but it just wasnt priced right.
Hope something happens soon, maybe a newer 17" version of some sort

Prices are not lower, just the instant savings thing is included in the full price.

I customized a Sony VGN-FZ190 yesterday and came out to $1268.99. I customized the same notebook today, giving it the exact same things, and it came out to $1,318.99!!! What gives!? Did the price go up because the notebook has been backordered?

The only thing I noticed different about the SZ was the ability to add a 200GB harddrive.

You were always able to add a 200GB on the 400 Series.
