    Hi,

    I recently purchased a new TX850P/B.

I created the backup disks and also downloaded the new drivers and updates from the Sony site.

To remove all the preinstalled adware I formatted and installed my personal copy of WindowsXP Pro, everything went fine except for the Ethernet LAN driver. The downloads from the Sony site all list by name the device driver name but I could not find the specific driver for the wired Ethernet port. I suspect that the driver is bundled with another device driver but I could not find the correct one.

I ended up doing a factory restore from the Sony backup DVD disks I created when I started and everything is back to original.

I was wondering if anyone knew which file the Ethernet driver is in from the downloads at the Sony site for a TX850P/B?

    Thanks,

    -rhd
